KidZui

Being a dad has made me more attuned to this sort of thing. For our friends who have kids and want them to have access to the internet for all that is good but struggle with how to help your kids avoid the bad, I just heard about a product called KidZui.

Ten million dollars in start-up capital and two years in development, the company just launched their KidZui product, an internet browser for kids that provides access to content that has been previewed and approved by parents and teachers from over 25 states and tested by over 8,000 kids prior to launch. It also gives users the ability to add or remove content for their kids, runs automatically on start-up, supported on both Windows and Mac computers, and lets kids customize their own internet experience.

One hundred dollars per year, with a special introductory cost of $50 for the first year and a free 30-day trial, no credit card number required up front. The ongoing cost is to support the company to be able to continue previewing and adding content. Just wanted to bring this to the attention to you all that might be interested.
